What is Direct School Admission?
DSA lets Singapore students gain a place at a secondary school or junior college on demonstrated talent — not exam scores alone. A student with a verified track record in computing or robotics can be shortlisted, interviewed and given a Confirmed Offer before PSLE results are released.
Computing and robotics are among the fastest-growing DSA categories, offered by 30+ secondary schools. But panels don’t reward enthusiasm — they reward evidence. That is the entire design principle of our programme.

Arrive at P6 with Proof
DSA-Secondary is submitted in Primary 6 — but the portfolio is built in the years before. Starting at Primary 3 or 4 gives your child three full competition seasons before the portal opens.

- May MOE DSA-Sec portal opens — applications go through the centralised portal, up to three schools under the rules MOE publishes for the current year.

When should my child start preparing?
The golden window is Primary 3–4. DSA-Secondary is submitted in Primary 6, and starting at P3–P4 gives your child three full competition seasons to build genuine skill and a verified track record — rather than a last-minute scramble in P5.
What is the DSA-Secondary timeline?
The centralised MOE DSA-Sec portal opens in May — students may apply to up to three schools, with up to two talent areas per school, as published by MOE for the current year. Selection — trials, portfolio review and interviews — runs through late August, and schools issue Confirmed Offers before PSLE results are released.
What goes into a DSA portfolio?
